Started working on a new track tonight… finally!
Things started to come together.. textures were working with each other, the bass sat nicely with the kickdrum, and the melodies were coming!
… After humming away and thinking of lyrics, I suddenly sang “you can do no harm.. in my eyes”.
At that moment I realized I’d basically wrote the backing track [albeit a little more electronic] to “Thom Yorke – Hearing Damage”.. balls!
Really like this – listened through a couple of albums previously and nothing really jumped out at me that I recall, but this time around with a brand new demo (see video clip below) it’s hit the mark for me.
Great melody, lovely mood & a strong performance too. Wouldn’t mind seeing these guys live.

Came across this track about a month ago and liked it first time around.
Played the album again today whilst doing some DIY (joy!) and it blew me away.

The album itself is really interesting, loads of interesting layers and textures – definitely one for the fellow producer to listen to and get inspiration
