Man, I’m knackered! haha.

So, the track “A Reason Apart” that I started yesterday evening is finished (or at least until the next time I listen to it and go changing stuff.. again), and it’s under a new name “Making White Noise”.

I’m Seriously happy with the overall sound. It’s ridiculously epic, with a massive driving chorus. Feels so good to get another track down for the album.

I’m going to get a sample sorted and have a sneak peak up on the blog –

K, so i’ve been working in the studio today on a new track called “A Reason [to be] Apart”. Really pleased with the sound so far.. very epic, has a coldplay / editors type feel to it at times I’ve noticed. It’s a full on vocal jobby, with a really dirty bassline and a pounding rhythm.

I decided to jot some lyrics down to get a feel for a vocal line, and within 15 minutes had the whole thing written.. wowser! What with the last couple of posts I’ve written reflecting on this whole “mid twenties anxiety” topic it’s no surprise they’re based on the same theme :p
