Saw a pretty strange video the other day, and the mood stuck with me for a while. I kept thinking about how insane the video was, and to be fair – slow moving and not that exciting. But oddly, it did make an impression.

The soundtrack made it for me.. I definitely think Tomek & Murcof captured something in this short film.

So, got back from Cuba this week – we had a hurricane.. oh the joy!
Luckily those Cuban skies managed to shed the thick gray cloud for 3 or 4 of the 14 days, so we were blessed with some baking hot sunshine.

The first week back at work was difficult. Firstly catching up with work from the previous 2 weeks, but mainly down to travel fatigue. Due to the timing of the flight back, we ended up traveling for around 18 hours in total [including the drive back from Manchester], and at that point it was 9:15am UK time… so a looooong day with no sleep.

I’m so grateful it’s a Saturday! Knowing I have a whole day of nothingness ahead of me makes me happy! Tonight we’re off to see a Rat Pack tribute band – should be fun! but right now, i need coffee… and there’s none to be found so I’m roasting a fresh batch as we speak…
