Started working on a new track tonight… finally!
Things started to come together.. textures were working with each other, the bass sat nicely with the kickdrum, and the melodies were coming!

… After humming away and thinking of lyrics, I suddenly sang “you can do no harm.. in my eyes”.
At that moment I realized I’d basically wrote the backing track [albeit a little more electronic] to “Thom Yorke – Hearing Damage”.. balls!

Inspired by the Donnie Darko soundtrack, I decided I was going to record a main theme, and a set of variations for film. This is the main theme so far – I really like the melody line..

Just found a demo track I made last week or so, totally forgot about it and really enjoyed the feel of it this morning. There isn’t much to it at the moment, but wanted to throw it up here anyway.
